Robert Cocker, Senior Managing Consultant Asia
Robert Cocker has over 25 years of Shipping experience, from the OOCL / Furness Withy shipping groups working in a range of business spheres from Agency Operations to Liner Marketing before being transferred to Corporate IT where he worked in Hong Kong and the US as well as all around Europe.
After 13 years Robert left to join Thru Transport/Qiva where for another 12 years he project managed implementations from major Lines such as MISC, CMA and “K” Line as well as short sea operators such as Sea Consortium. He was heavily involved in the design and development of a standardised Liner Agency solution. Robert ended up as Vice President Asia Pacific working out of the Kuala Lumpur offices.
Since 2007 he has largely been working on MRP implementations to add value to the varied logistic experiences and has worked in manufacturing companies as diverse as Tea Plantation/tea bag manufacturing to Breathing Apparatus manufacturers.
Robert is currently based in Melaka, Malaysia, conveniently located for Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and travel from either airport.
